The shoe manufacturer Clarks set up their shoe factory in Street in 1825. Now, in the oldest part of their factory building, visit and explore shoes from across history and around the world - from Roman sandals to a Nigerian Emir's slippers - together with displays showing how shoes have been made over time through the Clarks archives. The Shoe Museum, on Street High Street, is open from 10am to 4.45pm.
